From | Judicial Union Party | To | Debating the Consentual Organ Donation | Message | We oppose. By the current law, if a person is so callous as to not want their organs to be used to save the lives of other people, then they can take actions to stop that. There is still unlimited personal choice. This proposed law would restrict the organ pool, making life worse off for all citizens. |

From | Tukarali Graenix Party | To | Debating the Consentual Organ Donation | Message | You only give half of the story. With the current law a patient's organs can be taken without their approval. There are a lot of things we can do in this country to save lives. We could totally oppress our people and put them in government camps, survey them 24/7, and the list goes on. |

From | Judicial Union Party | To | Debating the Consentual Organ Donation | Message | Why should we need their consent? Once a person is dead, they're not using them any more. If they feel strongly enough, they can opt out. The difference between the current law and the government camps and such, is that under the current law, people can still choose what they want. The current law is the fairest balance between a person's right to deprive other people of life through callous unreasonableness, and saving the life of an injured person. |

From | Rightist Party | To | Debating the Consentual Organ Donation | Message | So if you are having surgery, you think it right that they can rip out an organ to give it to someone who needs it? If they decide to take a kidney from you because your blood type matches someone who needs a kidney transplant, under current law, they can legally do so. |

From | Rightist Party | To | Debating the Consentual Organ Donation | Message | HAHAHAHA!! You are the idiot one. How many live people donate organs? Many. For hearts and liver...yes it is dead people's organs that are used but for lungs and kidneys? One does not need to be dead to donate them. Idiot. |

From | Greenish Liberal Democratic Socialists | To | Debating the Consentual Organ Donation | Message | It has always been the assumption that this organ thingy was to clarify wether it was ok to use the ogans when a patient who has no chances to survive anymore,.. not to plunder someones kidneys, lung and/or liver when a patient is just in the hospital for a day for a routine check-up or a broken leg or something like that. |
