Description[?]:
It has recently come to our attention that a plague has emerged in the island-state of Somasi in the Republic of Aldegar. So far we know that it is an airborne disease. The disease is indirectly fatal, instead of the disease itself directly killing the victim, the symptoms are the cause of death, as eating, drinking and even breathing become extremely painful, and thusly leads to either death through starvation or suffocation. The disease starts out with a mild fever, within a short time (exact numbers not yet know) blisters and sores emerge in the throat and respiratory system, leading to the pre-described death. Because so little is known, and it is an airborne virus, and the way global travel is in the modern world, it is of the utmost importance that we take action. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will shortly be contacting officials in Aldegar on this matter. However decisions on actions do need to be made now. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Upon passing a team of experts in virology and and molecular-chemistry with the Medical Ship 'Merciful Light' to Aldegar will be sent to Aldegar to try to help figure out the disease and provide medical assistance while taking the utmost precautions to prevent the disease itself from spreading further. |

Message | Under normal circumstance we would never suggest it, however, it may be neccessary to restrict travel to the affected areas. |
Date | 05:31:42, December 26, 2007 CET | From | 帝国公明党 (Teikoku Kōmeitō) | To | Debating the Plague in Somasi |
Message | It's highly likely that the disease has already spread, possibly to multiple countries, so that's not very effective in the long run. |

Message | Maybe some education program. (like the wearing of masks in china durring SARS) |

Message | Wearing a mask just gives a false sense of security, it doesn't actually help. Keeping a virus out with a mask is like try to keep a grain of sand out with a colander. |
Date | 07:59:35, December 27, 2007 CET | From | 帝国公明党 (Teikoku Kōmeitō) | To | Debating the Plague in Somasi |
Message | The Foreign Ministry would like to request that a team of experts in virology and and molecular-chemistry with the Medical Ship 'Merciful Light' to Aldegar, to help try to figure out more about this disease and how to stop it. |
Date | 20:13:40, December 28, 2007 CET | From | Independence Coalition | To | Debating the Plague in Somasi |
Message | You want to send people into an area infected with an airborne disease? And risk their contamination? And risk them bringing it back to Sekowo? Have you gone mad? |
Date | 02:33:09, December 29, 2007 CET | From | 帝国公明党 (Teikoku Kōmeitō) | To | Debating the Plague in Somasi |
Message | You misunderstand. The disease, so far is primaril on the island-state of Somasi. We want to send them to Aldegar in general, they will than stay out of contact with as many people as possible and do all research aboard the ship via contained smaples provided/obtained. |

Message | The mask was just an example, I personaly have no idea how to combat the disease, witch is why we need an education program... |
