| Message | We would like to be told why the Federalists propose this system. 17% is already a high amount to tax citizens for luxury items, and a tax rate of 20% can be viewed as excessive. Raising luxury tax rates makes it harder for our poorest citizens to afford luxuries that many in our Republic take for granted. We are not completely opposed to this tax change, if the Federalists give us good strong reasons for it. -Joseph Hearte, Ouparath |

| Message | The raise in the luxury tax is included to cover the loss in revenue which would be a result of the elimination of the essential goods tax (Proposal One). We will than after a new budget is passed proceed to lower the luxury tax should we still have a surplus. |
