Current: The government subsidises the operations of low-income farming families.
Proposed: Strategic crops are produced on State owned farms. All other produce is left to the Private sector.
Article 2
Proposal[?] to change Government policy concerning the use of pesticides.
Old value:: Farmers are required to list chemicals used on their crops.
Current: There is no government oversight or regulation of pesticides.
Proposed: The government approves and regulates agricultural chemical use.

| Message | We in the BPA council feel that while we agree with article 1 article 2 denies us the ability to vote for this proposal. Freedom of business is something every entrapreneur should have to wield within their own creation. The BPA feels that the onus is on the consumer to regulate what they ingest and thus feel that the current value of article 2 does a better job of achieveing what we desire from that area. |
