Voting deadline: July 2511
Description[?]:
"Simply put, it as unconscionable that the State has no influence over the remuneration of religious ministers. As a result, most of them are walking off with all of their followers' hard-gotten donations, and using them to build vast mansions for themselves. It is the right of the people to enforce limits on how much religious ministers should be allowed to keep for themselves, the rest must be used by their church itself. This is not a violation of church and state, because we are not interfering with the church itself nor its practice, merely the payment of fatcat ministers. However, we are not so arrogant as to assume to force all people of Zardugal how to do so. It should be left up to the people themselves what sort of regulation, if any, should be taken regarding this matter. It's all a part of the Eternal Revolution." -Karl von Friedricht, in the proposition speech to the National Directory |

Date | 18:08:10, January 03, 2008 CET | From | Order Of The Illuminati | To | Debating the People's Right to Regulate Remuneration |
Message | The people of Zardugal are smart enough to spot a con, and have the ability to make decisions for themselves with regards to which religious organizations they support. Whether or not religious leaders are rich is completely irrelevant. The separation of church and state is a principle that should not be compromised. |
