Message | When criminals is being taken care for and is paid for by the government they should not receive wage, but work off their debt to society, including the penalty they received and the money spent on them while inprisoned. |

Message | This is not slavery, and what rights do our honourable colleagues believe criminals have whilst in Imperial prisons? They do not receive wages as they are working to pay for their upkeep and work off their debt to society. If non-criminals do not work they can lose almost everything (although the government does support them in so much as to not force them onto the streets) but a prisoner is guaranteed food, water, shelter, clothing, warmth, etc. Should it not be fair that they provide a return for their care? Why should they get the luxuries that some find almost impossible without government support, but have done nothing wrong, whilst those who have committed criminal acts get everything free and, should this bill pass, actually get paid for working and, moreover, actually get the choice not to? How does this instil anything but moroseness into our criminal communities and how does it help rehabilitate them? This bill has not been considered of its effects to the wider community and as such we oppose. |

Message | We assume the leader of the WSO has never been to jail. Jail is no luxury. Jail is Jail. Cold blunt and in your face. You are cut off from society, family, friends. It is a wretched, violent place my friend. Your ignorance shines bright once again. |

Random fact: In order for a Cabinet bill to pass, more than half of the legislature must vote for it and all of the parties included in the proposed Cabinet must support it. If your nation has a Head of State who is also the Head of Government, then the party controlling this character must also vote for the bill, since the Head of Government is also a member of the Cabinet. If any of these requirements are not met, the bill will not pass. |
