Message | The medicinal use of cannabis is controversial. It has been proven that it has legitimate medicinal uses, but many oppose it for a variety of reasons. I believe we should let local communities decide how to deal with this problem based on their own standards of morality. There is no reason for a single policy for the entire nation when communities differ so greatly on how to solve the problem. |

Message | We would prefer to see it fully decriminalized and medical usage be made completely legal across the country, but we will vote in favor of this bill. |

Message | You see, honourable Senators, the NU is willing to debate on any bill with reasonable arguments. But when federalism is proposed, we will ALWAYS vote no. |

Message | we wish to know why you believe letting local people take control of their own lives is so wrong |
Date | not recorded | From | To | Debating the Legal Status of Medicinal Cannabis |
Message | It is the first step to federalism and separatism. And you say local people can take controll of their own lives? They cannot. Power is just given to regions with a population of millions. It is better to give towns and cities more authority, and arrange legislation on national level. |
