Bill: Constitutional Changes
Details
Submitted by[?]: Freedom Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 2511
Description[?]:
Due to the dissolution of the Nationalist Unity Alliance, the Conservative Party, and the Democratic People's Party, we the Freedom Party now hold a convincing majority in the Rutanian National Assembly. We do not wish to pass any bill we please, as tempting as it is, but we do want to invoke some constitutional amendments to bring back Rutania to its heritage. Parliament - Because MP is better than "Assemblymen", it also not gender specific. 599 - because 300 for a majority, and 400 for a supermajority makes it so much easier to quickly calculate |

Message | Personally i would rather not have the prefix/suffix commonwealth. I like the new motto and the seats best be changed considering the loss of parties. |

Random quote: "A return to first principles in a republic is sometimes caused by the simple virtues of one man. His good example has such an influence that the good men strive to imitate him, and the wicked are ashamed to lead a life so contrary to his example." - Niccolo Machiavelli |
