MessageWhat's the wikipedia article for? We would support terms that stress our imperial multinational status, such as Kingdom, Nation or Country or our identity as a Christian empire, but it should use Church of Luthori terminology, not titles from foreign religions, such as "see" (i.e. Bishopric, Archdeaconry).

MessageThe wikipedia article is there as a help. And may i direct your attention to the Inquisition Act that was votet in to affect on February 2483 and still stands http://80.237.164.51/particracy/main/viewbill.php?billid=152316 so the notion that our national subdivisions should be called presbytery because it is "church of Luthori" terminology is not good enough for the first the "church of Luthori" represent roughly 30% of Luthorians while the The Traditionalist Lutheran Church represent another 30% The Terran Catholic Church represent another 30% of Luthorians and the rest is more or less Hobrazian Orthodox.

My my dear friends of the Luthori Tory Party we are not sure about "See" but "Province" is a good choice.

MessageI don't understand the relevance of the Inquisition Act? It reads as though it makes the state religion (the Church of Luthori) mandatory to me.

[OOC: I don't like the idea of counties: Northern Ireland has six counties, so for an Empire of 150 million people to be organised into five counties makes no sense - it just sounds to small scale. Country, maybe...]

MessageProvince or district could be acceptable. However the best one would be State as we support federalism in this Empire.

MessageThey're all very generic, bland and secular aren't they? We would support something that is imperial or Christian in nature, ideally both - but never neither!

MessageThat just sounds like we've taken the generic province, and put imperial in front of it "because we're an empire". Empires are made up of different countries, not provinces. Sometimes these are called colonies, protectorates or dominions: but never provinces (imperial or otherwise).

MessageThe we will ask our honourable friends in the Bible and Crown Defenders Party if they have a better proposal that represents most if not all Luthorians and not just members of a minority Christian denomination?

MessageKingdom, Realm, Dominion, Country, Nation and Commonwealth are all secular and promote our status as an empire spread over several nations. We'd also be just as happy to leave it as it is.
