Bill: Statement from the Ministry of Internal Affairs
Details
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill requests an early election. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline. Elections will be held immediately if the bill passes.
Voting deadline: April 2512
Description[?]:
"Operation Padrilka Storm continues to leave the enemies of the Motherland in ruins. Even with the State of Emergency not yet enforced the men in suits see their endeavours fail spectacularly. The wretched 'Egyptians' still put up a pitiful defence but we announce that all 'Robotic' milita units and outposts have been destroyed, the so called 'Republic of Padrilka' is now under the control of a few delusional men who worship an imaginary race. With this collapse the political wing of the 'Robotic movement' too has been eradicated, left with nothing to stand for and noone to support them they today disbanded and fled the nation. Let this be a warning to all that oppose the Beiteynuese state, you too will perish, end your treason now or suffer the consequences. With the collapse of the RASP the Knesset is left partly empty and as such new elections must be called to fill these seats. We however feel it is important to wait for the passage of the State of Emergency into law before this occurs and as such we propose new elections take place in August of this year, 2511" For the Homeland!" -- Yosef Zlato, Minister of Internal Affairs and Chief of the Police Forces |

Message | OOC: It's basically a long winded reason to call for new elections. A party recently disbanded so now we have 67 empty seats in the legislature which need to be filled up. |

Random fact: When you join the game, you will find yourself with only zero seats. That's because your party's representatives haven't been elected yet. You need to establish your party's position on issues by proposing several bills that your party wants passed and sending them to vote. This raises your visibility and if you do it enough, you will win seats at the next election. |
