From | Liberated Party | To | Debating the Freedom of Consenting Adults Bill | Message | The difference between what we want, and what it is right to command is vast. If people wish and freely choose to enter prostitution, government has no reason to prevent them. It will also allow these men and women to unionise, it will ensure their earnings are taxed, and it will free police time to concentrate on criminals, rather than on two people having consensual sex. |

From | Liberated Party | To | Debating the Freedom of Consenting Adults Bill | Message | Communist: As things stand, people are forced into it because it is an underground activity. Bringing it into the open should drastically reduce that. Capital: Could you clarify your message please? |

From | Libertarian party of Darnussia | To | Debating the Freedom of Consenting Adults Bill | Message | No, since prostitution is cracked down. When legalizing (like in many RL-nations where it is legal) you would just promote this activity (of forcing them into prostitution) and the government cant change much about it, beceause these woman will deny beceause they are afraid. |

From | Liberated Party | To | Debating the Freedom of Consenting Adults Bill | Message | Legalizing in RL nations has not promoted forcing people into prostitution, it has ensured the safety of those involved. While it remains illegal, nothing can be done, because women won't report that they were working illegally. If it is legalised then they become free to go up against anybody who tries to abuse them within the legal framework, which is closed to them if they were working illegally initially. |

From | Conservative Party | To | Debating the Freedom of Consenting Adults Bill | Message | There should be no such thing as prostitution! where are our moral standards folks? What sort of example is it to say that one of humanities most intimate acts can be bartered for with money? I would most certaintly oppose any bill in favour of legalising prostitiution. |

From | Libertarian party of Darnussia | To | Debating the Freedom of Consenting Adults Bill | Message | Then you have not watched enough documentary's Liberated party (i've seen 3 about it :P). it is very easy to crack down since you have to promote it some way (prostitution) and 1 day maybe after a year but 1 day they will find ouit. And if these woman would report they're pim while it is illegal the pimp will be put in jail not the woman. Ad it is also very sick to just sell your body. And i agree with conservatives on this. |

From | Libertarian party of Darnussia | To | Debating the Freedom of Consenting Adults Bill | Message | i'm not. Seeing nations that had succesfully banned prostitution. And seeing nations that didn't ban prostitution... i think, no i am absolutly positive that legalizing stimulates the illegal woman-trade. (and have you even read the rest of my comments). |

Random fact: By default the head of government is the ultimate authority within a national government. In general terms, heads of government are expected to consult with cabinet colleagues (including those from other parties) before making significant decisions but they remain responsible for government action. |
