Description[?]:
Article One, We hope to curb smoking to reduce the strain on the health system by preventing children from purchasing tobacco. Article Two, This measure would increase the amount of organs available to those with serious diseases reducing a black market for organs, and cutting bureaucratic responses to organ donation, Currently people have to go out of there way to become an organ donor. If one doesn't want to be an organ donor or the family wishes them not to be an organ donor at the time of their passing they can simply say so. This should increase the quality and quantity of life across the country. Article Three, Our budget (reference: http://80.237.164.51/particracy/main/budget.php?nationid=55) has a huge surplus of 148,526,813,699 SEK we can afford to fund a national drug plan to cover every citizen. This will increase the quality and quantity of life across the country so no one will choose between food and life saving medication. Article Four, We are a multinational federation of Countries, nations should be able to set drug controls to suit local norms rather than the Central Government. As a result local governments would have the power to design rehabilitation treatments best suited for local traditions. Article Five, There needs to be a central standard for food sale, expired food is commonly sold in poorer regions. Local governments would still have the power to issue permits to both public and private establishments but the standards would be set centrally so as to make sure those traveling across our great country don't have to suffer from food poisoning because local governments do not have the power or willpower to address this issue. Article six, Reducing aids, sexually transmitted diseases and the need for abortions with easy access to contraceptives regardless of income. |

Message | We vote no, however, anything you present alone that is for de-localization we would most likely support. |
Date | 09:57:09, January 05, 2008 CET | From | Normand Pluralist Party | To | Debating the Health and Safety Bill |
Message | This is a close call for us, but we must ultimately vote no. We are in favour of small government, and, in particular, localization. We would thoroughly support localizing drug laws. OOC: The listed budget is "broken" and has absolutely nothing to do with Sekowo's laws, except how we RP. It's based 100% on what we decide we're spending, and on what tax rates we choose to apply. This may or may not reflect our laws. |

Message | We only support two articles in this. Article 1; No. It's not the governments job to tell people what to do with their body. Article 2; We wont stand for this blatant stripping of rights. If a person wants to donate organs, they will eithe rhave stated so, and exactly what before, or you can ask them. Article 3; We'd support this as a seperate bill. Article 4; No. No. No. A quadrillion times No! People have a right to do what they want with their bodies, we refuse to allow some small conservative backwaters to be given the power to take that right away. Article 5; If it was included with something else we like, we'd vote for it. Article 6; We support this, perhaps make a bill with this and article 5. In the ned we are voting No. |
