MessageWhat I like:

This strongly addresses the food shortage, and is a step in the right direction scientifically.

It also addresses somewhat the issue of health care.

What I don't like:

Even with the proposed tax increases, we will be put into deficit spending. It will force our already tiny military to become even tinier, and endangers the Coast Guard especially, as well as training and equipment.

It also increases foreign aid (a noble cause, but we're in pretty bad shape, so that money is better allocated to our people), while dramatically decreasing allocations most notably to Police, whose nationwide force will probably be cut to a tenth of it's current size. Crime will skyrocket as a result, as internal social programs preventing crime are also on the chopping block here.

While the boost to our woefully inadequate health care system is going to be received very well, it is a small bandage on a gaping wound, and is still exceedingly inadequate. Only Z595.59 will be allocated per person per year. Considering our current system, we would need that figure to be at least Z2500, preferably Z5000.

Education concerns are not addressed

The cuts to Environmental regulations are far too severe, and would drastically cut our ability to enforce them. The cut also would eliminate or very severely reduce any nationally funded tourism efforts in other countries.

This budget, finally, has the potential to be a boon to our suffering and heavily conglomerated business world, and encourage small business which is nearly non-existent. Rather, it would, if we were not entirely hands-off businesses. The extra money allocated to trade and industry will be wasted.

It is our recommendation that the member of the party that authored this budget be fired, because they are horrible at financial analysis.

MessageThere won't be a deficit, because our luxury and corporate taxes will pay for the spare. We will pull in about 333,000,000,000 under the new tax plan, and our luxury/corporate taxes are raking in 86,000,000,000 a year. The end result will be a marginal surplus.
We are not cutting the Environmental and Tourism budget, we're expanding it greatly. Look at the report before you make such a comment. It is also our thinking that allocating more money to Trade and Industry will increase small businesses and increase competition, and break the stranglehold corporations have over our industry. Also, our police forces are almsot entirely local-funded, and primarily volunteer, plus we believe in the power of the local people to organize themselves and keep their own order, wihtout wasting money on an extravagant, and oppressive as our party has learned in the past, police force. After this initial bill we'll probably make a rectification bill boosting the Internal affairs budget, only giving it a small cut from what it was originally..
It has also been our experience, regarding the comments on Healthcare, that too much at one time tends to fail. Already many parties are denouncing the necessary tax increases just to pay for the current Healthcare increase. In any event Healthcare has been the primary beneficiary of this budget, but simply put, there was no more money to allocate to it, after we made the necessary increases in other departments to rectify their deplorable condition.

MessageThis budget will cause a deficit in conjunction with the tax increases. First, increasing the income tax lowers corporate revenue, because consumers have less money to play with, and spend less of it proportionally. Increasing income taxes also greatly lowers the effectiveness of consumption taxes, both of which will drop in incoming revenue, again, proportionally. The only increase will come off the backs of the taxpayers, and the gain being sought to fill this budget will be far lower than the projections you're giving. An economy is a living, breathing thing. Put weight in one place and other areas will suffer.

It will be the citizenry hit hardest by these proposals should they pass.

MessageI see no reason to increase food and agriculture, as well as foreign affairs and finance that much.
