Message | We'll oppose. If a family is large then they are on their own. |

Message | If a family is not low income, they do not need state support, regardless of the size of the family. We shouldn't just throw money at them. |

Message | You all must not be getting what I am saying. The more children you have, the more people you have to support. If a parent worked 3 jobs to support a large family, they still could be struggling to get by. Of course they make more money than someone with low income, but they made need aid just as much, or even more. |

Message | Exactly how big is a large family? We find it hard to believe that a parent, working 3 jobs, where their combined income puts them firmly in a middle income range, could not support a family of any reasonable size. We cannot give out benefits to every family with a couple of children simply because there are a few parents who have had far too many children than their income can support. |

Message | Uhm, so we are wondering why we are giving money to families which have had more children than they can support?? They reproduce without restraint and then cant handle the financial burdens. Then we sweep in and give them undeserved federal money to assist in their irresponsible behavior where they increase the number of people (which we already do not have enough jobs for). We oppose. Those that abuse the welfare system blatanly should not be aided. Sorry, we feel conservative on this issue. |

Message | Excuse me, but our nation actively promotes population growth, and we don't give out contraceptives or offer discounts. Why do we ask so much of our people and then abandoned them when they get in too deep? Abuse can come from either side. You can't just restrict one group just because it is different from the current. |

Random fact: In cases where players introduce RP laws to a nation and then leave, Moderation reserves the discretion to declare the RP laws void if they appear to have fallen into disuse. In particular, please bear in mind that a player who is inexperienced with Particracy role-play and has joined a nation as the only party there should not generally be expected to abide by RP laws implemented by previous players who have been and left. |
