| The Communist Party recognizes the freedom of religion, but we also realize that religion is a private matter. Religion has no place in education, the government, or the revolution. Religious institutions should be taxed, religious schools should be closed, and religious propaganda should be restricted. Despite these measures, we must remember the quote from Comrade Gus Hall: "Our fight is not with God; it is with the capitalists." |
