Message | The major failing of the logic behind this bill is that there is a flat-out minimum wage that applies to children and family-supporting adults alike. As the Irish Party may take note, a summer job hardly qualifies a child as a "worker". And even, hypothetically speaking, if cornershops did pay children handsome wages - which does the Irish Party want more: more affluent shop-owners or fewer families under the poverty line? We believe the very creation of this bill speaks volumes of the IP's position on this issue. |

Message | Fine lets just give everyone 1,000,000,000LIK each. That would get rid of poverty wouldn't it. Why don't people just get off their asses and work for money, We believe the sole point of a minimum wage is to stop people from being abused. Stop businesses playing their employees extrememly little just because they know the employees have no other options. If these people want more money, then they can't just expect to get it straight away. |

Random fact: Characters are considered to be "owned" by the player who first mentioned or created them. In practice, players may share responsibility for role-playing a character, but ultimate authority rests with the owner. |
Random quote: "Who are the militia? Are they not ourselves? Is it feared, then, that we shall turn our arms each man gainst his own bosom. Congress have no power to disarm the militia. Their swords, and every other terrible implement of the soldier, are the birthright of an American...[T]he unlimited power of the sword is not in the hands of either the federal or state governments, but, where I trust in God it will ever remain, in the hands of the people." - Tenche Coxe |
