Look up some of the past debates on abortion and you'll see they lead to conclusions like "chimpanzees are people and therefore chimps deserve rights". Basically, you have the nays: a fetus is not a person and a woman's right to choose outweighs a potential's potential rights; and the ayes: a fetus that close to birth is basically a person and therefore entitled to a right to life. And then there's the Liberals... |
