Bill: Earthly Community V
Details
Submitted by[?]: National People's Gang
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 2107
Description[?]:
No longer will the tools created by all of humanity belong to those who manipulate them to provide ever-greater luxuries for themselves. The means of production will not continue to generate goods for profit but will be returned to the people and be organised to produce for the needs of all, increasing efficiency and eliminating waste and over-supply. In this context "industry" is defined as any manufactuary employing more than 20 people. Service industries, agriculture and retail businesses are not covered by this bill. |

Message | Consistent with our policies, completely supported. |

Message | We would prefer a clear exemption for small business, especially family businesses with under (say) 20 employees. It seems clear that this only covers industry, not services and agriculture, right? |

Message | GA: The bill has been clarified in line with your suggestions. This does not mean the areas listed will be exempt under other legislation. Agriculture is being returned to the people who owned it, service industries have individual bills already posted and retail will not be an issue. |

Message | Which would also be under the control of a DWC. There would be no choice. |

Random fact: It is possible for a player to transfer ownership of a character or a royal house to another player. This should be done in a public way, such as on the Character Transfers thread, so that if a dispute arises in the future, Moderation can be pointed towards evidence of the transfer. |
