Bill: Sekowo Federalization Bill
Details
Submitted by[?]: Normand Pluralist Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: December 2515
Description[?]:
We believe that Sekowo should be decentralized as much as possible. Local and regional governments are better aware of their own needs and capabilities, as well as how best to address and support the local traditions and heritage of Sekowo's population in their area. We propose further supporting them to this end. In addition, localized government reduces bureacracy and consequently reduces government spending. |

Message | Agree with 4 and 5 but not 1 2 and 3. Defense is not just a local issue its a Federal Issue. Food safety should be uniform across the country, no reason to have unsafe food in one region as oppose to another. Worker Safety as well should be uniform across the country, why should some areas be unsafe to work on the merit of profits over people's lives? |

Message | We are going to add and remove provisions to this bill over time as we see responses to the various articles. We hope that we can get a 7-point Federalization bill to pass; we are not too particular about what the 7 points are. |

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, it is the responsibility of players to ensure the candidate boxes on their Party Overview screens are filled in with appropriate names. If a player is allotted seats in a Cabinet bill and has not filled in names for the relevant candidate position, then the program will automatically fill in the positions with names which might not necessarily be appropriate for the Cultural Protocols. |
