| Due to the increasing number of underage pregancies and abortions, the Anarch Anakrousite party has instructed the AAP representative to table a motion bringing some SOCIETAL responsibility to the issue of underage sexuality. Our children are experimenting - as children will, but they lack the knowledge to determine HOW FAR to experiment, and what precautions to take. The AAP would like to see Likatonian schools give a rough-and-ready guide, according to a nationwide syllabus, that MAY help stem this tide of cheerleaders in maternity gowns. |

We just think that schools should not be allowed to shirk so fundamental a social responsibility as sex education, because of squeamishnes. |

| Message | Response to the CPL: The AAP is a fervent supporter of personal freedom to choose... but our schools should not be allowed to 'ignore' sex education just to spare the blushes of a few parents. Would we rather have a society of informed teens, that know the risks, know when they have gone TOO far, and know how to protect themselves... or the current society that 'protects' our teen girls by NOT teaching them how to deal with their bodies, and which allows their first real knowledge of the 'truth' of sex, to be the first missed period? |

| Message | Granted your arguments are good, but our grassroots supporters, many of whom support home schooling or religious schooling, would not allow us to support suc a bill. I am afraid that we believe that at the very least this should be left up to local government, preferably up to the schools themselves. |
