Message | Let's lower this crippling luxury tax and allow consumers to spend more and keep more money for there own needs. A 1% increase in profit taxes on corporations will make up for or increase the difference in revenue without damaging profits. |

Message | We can accept Article 1, with some reservations, but disagree with Article 2. A 15% tax on luxury goods is far from crippling. Luxury goods in their very nature are goods that are inherently unrequired and are bought merely to make someone feel better, there is no requirement to lower this tax as people are not forced to purchase these goods, hence the extremely low taxation on essential goods. This tax only effects, in any form of high negativity, the higher earners and is a good way of wealth redistribution, as such we will not support. |

Message | We also side with the WSS. OOC: To bring in a RL example in Britain we have a 17.5% tax on most products that would come under luxury goods (VAT). |

Message | I've lowered the luxary by 1%, or if this doesn't work I could scrap the luxary tax proposal altogether and just keep the corporation tax increase. |
