MessageWe are throwing money toward distorting the market. If a farmer cannot make a living by growing a certain crop, they should change crop, or industry. By removing these unnecessary subsidies, we will be making our farmers more internationally competitive, and will reduce the tax burden on all our citizens.

MessageA large issue in our nation is where to find money to fund tax cuts, and necessary budget expenditure, and yet we are perfectly happy to throw away money at unnecessary agricultural subsidies? There are some places where the free market is beneficial, and this is one of them.

Messagethere is some role for gov support of farmers

strategic crops and ecological crops are both good examples

this has to debated in the larger context of whether foreign nations are dumping subsidized crops into our market

however the game does not allow this to be considered
