Bill: DSP.051.2518 (Eminent Domain Reform)
Details
Submitted by[?]: 帝国公明党 (Teikoku Kōmeitō)
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 2519
Description[?]:
We do not believe that ti's a good idea to leave the matter of eminent domain up to local governments, as they may choose a bad policy. However we also believe a balance between the right of private property and the good of the many needs to exist. Therefore we propose that Eminent Domain may seize property via Eminent Domain only for vital government works, and not for the use of corporations or unneeded projects, like car parks. |
