Bill: Eastern Territories Re-organization Act of 2518

Details

Submitted by[?]: 帝国公明党 (Teikoku Kōmeitō)

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 2525

Description[?]:

My fellow representatives, as you are all aware the Eastern Territories, which we obtained in 2509 are currently unorganized and do not thusly receive any benefits of being part of the Federation.

Over the last nine years we have explored the region enough to be able to get a good grasp of the area, including meeting some of the apparently few native peoples in the region.

Therefore we propose that the Eastern territories be split into four areas and be given Federal Protectorate status, just as Argos, Cho'kun, Midway and Tropica are.

The four areas would be named based on the following;

1. Lyore;
The Northern most Protectorate, would be named after Charles Franoise Lyors, the explorer who mapped and explored the area before anyone else.
He was also the first to make peaceful contact with the native peoples who live in the area, and an 'unofficial Ambassador to the Azari People'.

2. Shiratoku;
The area that connects to Midway and sits between the Northern most area and the Southern areas.
Shiratoku is the term generally used by the Sekowan immigrants who live there, and has become its unofficial name.
There are no native peoples currently known to live in the area, which is heavily covered by rain forest.

3. Kurageri;
The Southern most area of the territories.
The area is home to many lions, that are respected by the local peoples.
The various tribes, whom all have contact with each other all have different but similar names for the area they live in, which covers about 71% of the region.
The name Kurageri is a mixture of all the names into a single name that has proven to be understandable to the peoples without explanation.
Roughly translated it would mean 'Land of the Lions'.

4. Rapa Pile [Islands]
The islands off the coast of the Southern region, the region is made primarily of two largish islands and a few dozen smaller islands between and around them. Rapa Pile is a composite name based on the native names of the two main islands.

We would appreciate a map of the proposed territories.

Also: We would like a Normand name element to be included in there somewhere.

MessageNPP, because simply calling them territory 1, 2 etc. is not really viable.
We are also working on a map, more or less just finishing touches to make it look good.
We would also be willing to allow you to name the largest and capital cities in Lyore.

FDP, perhaps if you pulled your collective heads out of your collective asses and actually read, you would see that most of this area is U-N-I-N-H-A-B-I-T-E-D, and the parts that are inhabited are named based on the peoples who live there.
Whats more Federal protectorates are far more autonomous than Federal Districts.

MessageDSP: Please don't be rude to the FDP.

We would probably be okay with the names under that provision.

We agree with the FDP, however, that we should be pushing for a Confederacy.

MessageOOC: DSP you say they're uninhabited, if the requirement for nations comes about then the owner of the game will create nations in this land and it will be inhabited, it is also ignorant to suggest that prime swathes of land in a modern world would be uninhabited.

Furthermore, there is no collective in the FDP, we're individualists ;-)

In addition, we're SOOOO sorry that our opposition to your imperialism really annoys you.

There wont be any more nations, save for maybe one or two on the Western caost (the one Sekowo's on), since the guy who created the game has basically stopped developing it, since he's developing a different game now.

MessageOOC: There will be more new nations as the creator has been developing the sequel for a number of years now and during that time new nations have been added when needed. Do you really think that if this game gets full that the creator won't create new nations to fulfill demand? He'll want to as it will mean more people playing this one and more people likely to play, and pay, for the sequel.

When needed being the key.
Do you know how many nations could actually be added to Dovani?
Far more than will be created, especially considering Wouter's said he's no longer working on Particracy 1 and is going to provide its source code within the next few years, which indicates further he's not workling on it anymore.

Besides that there probably wont be any new nations do to the problems that have arisen with the last three (Sekowo, Lourenne and Talmoria) not showing up on the map and such.
