Bill: Annullment and Replacement of Article 1 of the Addendum for the Peace Accords

Details

Submitted by[?]: Revolutionary Constit'nal United Front

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: July 2521

Description[?]:

The punishment written in the Addendum for the Peace Accords that reads: "The PLMO shall be barred from participating in a cabinet coalition for 12 years, counting from March 17th, 2518"

is blatantly unconstitutional, as it violates Article 7, 3c that reads:

"The responsibility of proposing a list of Cabinet members falls to political parties, any or all of whom may propose lists to assist the Président de la République in the running of the country."

Instead the article will be replaced by a voluntary informal agreement among all parties besides the PLMO to exclude the PLMO from cabinet for 12 years, counting from March 17th, 2518

Random fact: It is the collective responsibility of the players in a nation to ensure all currently binding RP laws are clearly outlined in an OOC reference bill in the "Bills under debate" section of the nation page. Confusion should not be created by displaying only some of the current RP laws or displaying RP laws which are no longer current.

Random quote: "You have to remember one thing about the will of the people: it wasn't that long ago that we were swept away by the Macarena." - Jon Stewart
