MessageIt will help teach dicipline in teh school so when pupils leave they will be able to behave in society. If the students have a problem they can be asked to be removed.
What if we were to put in a clause that says a indepedant body will monitor the punishments.

MessageI don; think that striking children would actually have any meaningful effect, I have witnessed it in operation and it didn't, + allowing schools to set their own discipline is problematic as it allows for the possible abuse of children

MessageIf you put your hand in a fire it burns so you wouldnt do it again unless there is something wrong with you. If people have something wrong with them they should be in a specialist school. so using punishment like a cane will only help dicipline children and let others in the class learn.

Random fact: Players have a responsibility to differentiate between OOC (out-of-character) and IC (in-character) behaviour, and to make clear when they are communicating in OOC or IC terms. Since Particracy is a role-playing game, IC excesses are generally fine, but OOC attacks are not. However, players must not presume this convention permits them to harass a player with IC remarks that have a clear OOC context.
