MessageThis new income tax proposal would generate 139,461,881,524 JEL in new revenues that we would like to spend mostly on health care, education, the environment, agriculture, and infrastructure. However all ministries need an extra boost in resources, since it has been many years since the last spending increases.

New revenue will also be raised from the Communists' proposed rise in the luxury tax from 9 to 21%. We support their effort and hope that passes.

In addition, the recent raise in the corporate tax rate (which we opposed - we still think 35% is a bit too high) has raised additional revenue.

If there is support for this income tax proposal, we will develop a budget proposal that corresponds with these actions to increase much needed revenue for our programs.

MessageWe have called for new elections. After they are held, we want to address the issue of taxation again and try to put together a bill with a working majority. No one can deny that it is unreasonable to let our ministries continue to function with budgets that were created decades ago. The cost of living has increased, the cost of doing business has increased, and the cost of running a succesful and efficient government has increased as well.

Random quote: "Thousands of Zardic soldiers were sacrificed so that the Zardic government could gain control of a few buildings and Theodoro could pretend to be Augustus the Great. This is the kind of jingoistic ideology Zardugal would bring to the Security Council. They will throw countless lives away in pursuit of former glory." - Prince Akhaias, former Coburan royal
