Message | The SDLP believes this to be information that the government does not need to know. Giving this information should not be "required", and we will therefore vote against the Bill. |

Message | How can the government cater for different groups if it is not possible to numerically determine their position in society? |

Message | I fail to see how a person's race or religion changes how the government caters for them, but I would be happy to hear examples. |

Message | The intimate knowledge of any country must form the rational basis of legislation and diplomacy. It should be expected that services and state infrastructure within a community are representative of that community. For this to be analysed, then that community must be documented accurately. Otherwise one cannot know whether or not a community is underrepresented at any level. |

Random fact: It usually takes up to an hour for election results to generate. During this time, the "Next Election" date is put forward a month, which is confusing. Do not worry! In a short time, the election result will generate and the "Next Election" date will then correct itself. |
