Message | The CP would like the DSP to clarify. How does the DSP support madmen running around with military-grade weaponry but opposes a police officer walking the same streets to be allowed a firearm. How is a police officer to respond to armed criminals or terrorists? |

Message | Police are'nt prohibited from carrying weapons, they just can't carry lethal weapons. For instance, microwave beam guns (which do exist) are much more effective and safer than normal guns. |

Message | We have found that the DSP are eager to twist reality to suit their political purposes. Currently, civilians can legally be more heavily armed than the police. It's rediculous. Incidently, it makes national forces virtually helpless against the Normand Independent Militia (except during states of emergency when the military acts as a gendarmery) |

Message | DSP, you are avoiding the question. We all know microwave guns exist. It has been used by the military (notice how they also carry a lethal weapon). We are talking about police forces. How does a police force carrying heat guns unarm men firing killing bullets at them? Pray for an act of God? The CP feels DSP would oppose that too and wish our police forces be slaughtered. If the DSP refuses to arm our police forces, can it provide a realistic alternative? |

Message | Non-lethal weapons work just as well as lethal weapons, and non-lethal weapons are the kinds police are allowed to carry, not to mention special units of the police are allowed to carry lethal weapons, just not the everyday street cop. |

Message | I'm not aware of any non-lethal weapon that has the range or effectiveness of a normal long-range lethal gun. |

Message | The DSP is breaching the rights of the individuals who happen to work as police officers by denying them weapons they are entitled to under our laws that people are allowed firearms. We oppose that contradiction and support this bill wholeheartedly. |
