| Message | Former Minister of Infrastructure and Transport Catotus issued a press release today. In it he stated, "It is essential for the government to have the legal authority to obtain private property at fair market value for vital government works. Without that right Telamon wouldn't have the transit system, refuse reclamation facilities, or even the clean water delivery and maintenance system it does today. As Minister of Infrastructure and Transport I regularly oversaw projects that needed property to serve the entire population. Where population we worked on publicly owned parcels of land. But, now and again we had to obtain essential parcels of private property. More often than not a simple easement produced the necessary results. This legislation will drastically cripple Telamon's infrastructure, transit, and essential services from meeting the expanding needs of its citizens." |
