Bill: Repeal of "Mittens for Kittens Act" and "Ahem..."

Details

Submitted by[?]: Scientific Libertarian Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 2527

Description[?]:

This has gone from tolerable silliness to slightly-less-tolerable silliness.
Our country should be beholden to neither the kitten nor puppy lobbies!
After all, kittens and puppies can't vote.
If this bill passes, all provisions of both the Mittens for Kittens Act and the "Ahem..." resolution are rendered null and void.
Moreover, the chambers of the Supreme Council will be searched. If any mind-control devices are found, they will be destroyed. If any kittens or puppies are found, they will be expelled from the building and given to children of Councilmembers and staffers.
