Bill: Real Life Preservation Bill

Details

Submitted by[?]: Communist Party of Endralon

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 2040

Description[?]:

A legislative term of 2 years (4 real days) was implemented back when our nation was young. Now, with less political activity and less things to do - and in the interest of not getting players so addicted that it ruins their real lives (assuming they have such things) - I propose to lengthen legislative terms to 3 years (6 real days).

MessageI'm unsure. I can see where you're coming from but I like the idea of regular elections to keep things fluid and fun.

Random fact: Cabinet ministers who disagree seriously with the head of government would usually be expected to resign. Parties within the cabinet may attempt to manoeuvre to replace the head of government though, for example by proposing a new cabinet bill or voting for an early election.

Random quote: "The experience of ages has shown that a man who works on the land is purer, nobler, higher, and more moral... Agriculture should be at the basis of everything." - Mikuláš Gogolský, former Deltarian writer
