Message | If we don't allow people to earn the money, they will still do the work, as a matter of faith. Thoer 'flocks' won't let them starve, so they'll end up with un-registered income, in the form of gifts and suchlike. We can't tax that. All this Bill will do is loose is the revenue on taxing that income. It won't have any real impact on the religions themselves, although it might diminish the amount they spend on charitable works... |
