Bill: CP.0019.2527 Animal Testing in Cosmetics Bill
Details
Submitted by[?]: Conservative Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: May 2528
Description[?]:
The CP has always supported animal testing in a regulated environment. The current law prohibits animal testing in cosmetics although over 60% are in favour of it, according to the latest poll. Although many favour unregulated testing, the CP feels that at this time, it would be too great a leap. Therefore, we propose the middle option of regulated animal testing. |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change The use of animals in cosmetics research.
Old value:: Animals may not be used for testing cosmetics products.
Current: Animals may not be used for testing cosmetics products.
Proposed: The use of animals to test cosmetic products is regulated.
