Bill: State religion act - April 2528
Details
Submitted by[?]: Socialist Jelbanian Party-D.L.J.-D.L.F
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: August 2530
Description[?]:
We think that a state religion is not necessary in Jelbania, because the christian tradition is strong enough and still respected by the government ...in our opinion the istitution of a state religion could only be a point of division and conflict between seculars and religious, and surely Jelbania doesn't need further conflicts. For this reason we ask all parties , christian and secular , to reflect on this issue. |
