| Do to the fact that their are several overlapping laws and organizations we feel that it is for the best to establish the powers of the various cabinet positions and what falls under their jurisdiction. All Ministries shall have the power to create or dismantle any agency under their jurisdiction with a simple majority of the legislature voting in favour. All Ministries shall ultimately be inferior to the legislature and the Supreme Court respectively. The Head of Government shall be the Chief diplomat and shall sign all treaties. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs shall have power over diplomatic matters as well as the external intelligence agency. The Ministry of Internal Affairs have the role of moderator of internal government affairs and shall when required investigate arms of the government and report to the legislature on such matters. The Ministry of Internal Affairs shall have power over agencies dealing with Federal investigations. The Ministry of Finance shall have jurisdiction over all financial matters and have the power to create or dismantle (under the first law) any and all agencies relating to finances or taxes. The Ministry of Defence shall have jurisdiction over the military. The Ministry of Defence shall have the power, with the consent of the legislature to create or merge arms of the military into new entities. The Ministry of Justice shall have jurisdiction over all internal legal matters unless decided otherwise by a majority or supermajority of the legislature depending on the matter. The Ministry of Justice shall have the power to create all courts inferior to the Supreme Court. The Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport shall be responsible for all public infrastructure and transport projects and any related agencies. The Ministry of Health & Social Services shall be responsible for the National Healthcare System, the national Welfare system and related Social services. The Ministry of Health & Social Services shall be responsible for the creation (to be submitted and voted on by the legislature) of national regulatory procedures related to Health. The Ministry of Education & Culture shall be responsible for the Public Education system and its standards. The Ministry of Education & Culture shall be responsible for the oversight of national cultural projects. The Ministry of Science & Technology shall be responsible for the management of all national science and technology projects. The Ministry of Science & Technology shall be responsible for the oversight of the Sekowan Space Agency and all other science & technology related agencies. The Ministry of Food & Agriculture shall be responsible for the oversight of all agencies dealing with the production of food crops as well as the quality of both foods made in the Federation as well as imported food goods. The Ministry of Environment & Tourism shall be responsible for all projects and agencies related to the environment. The Ministry of Environment & Tourism shall be responsible for the oversight of national tourism projects. The Ministry of Trade & Industry shall be responsible for all projects and agencies relating to Industry and Trade. The Ministry of Trade & Industry shall be responsible for the creation and implementation of regulations and standards of trade and industry. |
