Bill: Income tax proposal of November 2530
Details
Submitted by[?]: AM Radical Libertarian Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill proposes to change income taxes. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: August 2532
Description[?]:
The AM Radical Libertarian Party propose to adjust the government's income tax policy to better address the economic situation of the Axis Mundi Likatonian Res Publica. We are currently running a surplus of 106,449,572,045 LIK. Income tax is bringing in 56,043,383,599 LIK, Corporation taxes are returning 31,640,667,130 LIK to the government. By eliminating these we boost the economy by allowing our citizens the chance to save or spent the money they are currently paying in taxes, and allow our corporations to reinvest or declare dividends for the shareholders. We will still have a surplus of almost 20,000,000,000 LIK for unexpected expenses. |

Message | Although we agree in tax cuts for both corporations and citizens, we feel several departments are currently underfunded. Instead, we call for a new budget to correspond with smaller tax cuts. |

Random fact: Particracy allows you to establish an unelected head of state like a monarch or a president-for-life, but doing this is a bit of a process. First elect a candidate with the name "." to the Head of State position. Then change your law on the "Structure of the executive branch" to "The head of state is hereditary and symbolic; the head of government chairs the cabinet" and change the "formal title of the head of state" to how you want the new head of state's title and name to appear (eg. King Percy XVI). |
