Bill: Budget proposal of August 2531

Details

Submitted by[?]: Normand Pluralist Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill proposes to change the allocation of funds in the budget. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 2532

Description[?]:

As our previous budget proposal appears likely to fail due to its requiring 2/3 support, we are proposing a new budget requiring only 50% approval to pass and offering fewer concessions.

- Dgillaume dé Jumièges

As an additional provision, foreign aid sent to Lourenne to protect the environment shall not exceed 4 billion SEK.

MessageWe are, unsurprisingly opposed.

We would also like to point out that 7 billion from Foreign Affairs goes to Lourenne for environmental protection as per the following bill;

MessageWe would support the counter-legislation bill.

However, this budget bill does not include increase of funding for Internal Affairs.

With a substantial surplus (and the projected 7 billion reduction in environmental wasteful spending), the NPP has no reason to avoid a resolution approved by the majority of the Folkstämma.

    Random fact: Particracy allows you to establish an unelected head of state like a monarch or a president-for-life, but doing this is a bit of a process. First elect a candidate with the name "." to the Head of State position. Then change your law on the "Structure of the executive branch" to "The head of state is hereditary and symbolic; the head of government chairs the cabinet" and change the "formal title of the head of state" to how you want the new head of state's title and name to appear (eg. King Percy XVI).

    Random quote: "The whole uncivilized bunch on the opposite benches can get stuffed." - Craig Warwick, former Dranian politician
