Message | Fireworks are a danger, to people and to property and forests. It only takes one person to be careless with a firework to begin a fire that can engulf houses, and even people. And yet we allow them? That it was only a small firework is hardly consolation to the people left homeless, the families of those killed and injured, and the animals killed in the forest fire that can result. |

Message | That is true, for there are all these parties who are entirely willing to risk destroying vast amounts of forest just to play with a few explosives. |

Message | Your bills are founded on what feels good, not what is actually useful. As stated several times before, we are not libertarian, we are liberal. We believe people should have the right to do what they want, until that infringes on other people's rights. Setting fire to someone's house, or even worse, a person, is certainly an infringement on their rights. We have enacted several acts relating to the environment, particularly those relating to vehicle pollution. |
