Message | This is rather ridiculous ... what are you trying to do here? Abolish civil liberties (the right for people to express their views like others) in the name of ... what? Civil liberties? Secularisation does not equal restricting the rights of religious groups, it means making the government free of religious ideals in, well ... governing. |
Date | 13:16:05, February 17, 2008 CET | From | Republican Coalition | To | Debating the Complete Secularisation Bill V.1 |
Message | We see it as removing religious ideals from everything, and thus making everyone free of it. |
Date | 13:18:23, February 17, 2008 CET | From | Hulstrian Liberalist Party | To | Debating the Complete Secularisation Bill V.1 |
Message | Right, forgetting that some of those people wholeheartedly believe in that religion, and frankly don't want to be free of it. What puts the Aneist Party in a position to decide what is and isn't stupid to believe in, and what people should and shouldn't be free of? |
Date | 13:24:45, February 17, 2008 CET | From | Republican Coalition | To | Debating the Complete Secularisation Bill V.1 |
Message | Our voters. If we every gain a majority then we would be in the right, no? Don't be silly. We are Oligarchs, we believe that some people need to be ruled, not represented. |

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, it is the responsibility of players to ensure the candidate boxes on their Party Overview screens are filled in with appropriate names. If a player is allotted seats in a Cabinet bill and has not filled in names for the relevant candidate position, then the program will automatically fill in the positions with names which might not necessarily be appropriate for the Cultural Protocols. |
