Message | With the imminent failure of the treaty's ratification the DLP began to consider proposing the formation of a committee to hash out a new agreement between Solentia and Wantuni -- one that would be more agreeable to all of Solentia's parties. It has since occured to us that it may not make sense for our foreign relations to be so stringently defined by a war that happened centuries ago, tragic though it was. Rather it may make more sense for us to attempt to draft a treaty that could be ratified by Solentia and all its bordering nations. What do the other parties think about these two ideas? Is there a preference? |

Random fact: In cases where a party has no seat, the default presumption should be that the party is able to contribute to debates in the legislature due to one of its members winning a seat at a by-election. However, players may collectively improvise arrangements of their own to provide a satisfying explanation for how parties with no seats in the legislature can speak and vote there. |
