Bill: War Authorization - Supporting Cobura

Details

Submitted by[?]: Peasant Party Of Sekowo

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 2535

Description[?]:

As each day passes the war becomes especially more brutal for the people of Cobura, who's simple crime is to be on the hitlist of an empire. We cannot as freedom loving citizens of terra sit idly by for this to happen. If we were under the same circumstances we should hope those in the international community will stand by us to fight off any agressor.

With this we give the Tenno and the Ministry of Defense to conduct a war of liberation against the Imperialists in the manner they see fit to fight it.

MessageWe are not opposed to military action but like we said in other posts, we will avoid ground forces unless we can have good support.

Nevertheless, if the Folkstamma votes to support Cobura in the war, the Ministry of Defense will make a formal request to the Deltrska Federcia, who have just offered us their country as a base of operation to setup several airbases to launch air strikes against Zardugal and their allies.

Until this vote passes, the Ministry of Defense will not launch any form of war actions. Nevertheless, it will make preparation for relocating part of the Sekowan Federal Air Forces (SFAF) to the Deltrska Federcia. We would like to also mention that the naval ships are making good time in arriving there.

MessageWe would reccomend avoiding Deltaria completely.

Let us not forget that they kidnapped, tortured and killed diplomats for no reas less than 60 years ago.

MessageThe CP will oppose military action in favour of diplomacy as our laws are not tough enough to protect our troops. As the laws change for the better, so will the CP's confidence in the other parties' war wishes. If it is to be war, let is be where we suffer the least amount of casualties. As Sekowo is not ready for war, we will oppose to protect our troops.

Random fact: In cases where players have failed to clearly and accurately reference their nation's RP laws in the "Bills under debate" section, Moderation will rule them invalid if a challenge is made to their validity.

Random quote: The Wolfsheim Virus is not a real actual disease in the conventional medical sense of the term. Rather, it is a cluster of symptoms which are just part of the general socio-economic disease that is capitalism. The main symptoms the sufferers are experiencing are a direct result of capitalist poverty, as in malnutrition, poor housing and so on, combined with psycho-somatic symptoms which are a direct consequence of the contradictions and stresses which are inherent to the capitalist system. ~ Friedrich Pfeiffer, General Secretary of the Dorvish Communist Party
