Bill: Senate Resolution 48: Income Tax Revision of 2534
Details
Submitted by[?]: Federal Independent Party
Status[?]: passed

Voting deadline: October 2535
Description[?]:
The Federal Independent Party proposes to adjust the government's income tax policy to better address the economic situation of the Federal Republic of Solentia. Due to the now disbanded Conservative & Morality Party's former financial revisions which wrecked Solentia's once liquidated and financially successful system, the income tax bracket must be altered to adjust to modern times. It is integral the finance plan be reformed now, as we can wait no longer. Without these needed funds from the income taxes, our budget will remain bare to the bone. Education will remain poor instead of the once great system Solentia was known for; the Defense will continue to struggle and let down our guard; our once wonderful universal health care plan is now long gone with faulty private plans which leave millions uninsured. We need a new budget, and sadly, the only way to do this is by creating new taxes. We also must consider the threats of military offenses which have recently broke out between Cobura and Zardugal. Should the conflict spread elsewhere, the Federal Republic must be prepared. Once we have a financially stable government where the services eradicated by the People Party and the Conservative & Morality Party are put back in place, we can hopefully lower taxes and give back the majority of the surplus to the people.
