Message | Article 1 = The current policy of allowing any nation to establish an embassy on our soil leaves us vulnerable to the creation of embassies by rogue nations and breakaway foreign states not yet recognised by the international community. In order to protect ourselves from such events it seems prudent to have the foreign office approve beforehand the creation of any embassies by foreign nations in Pontesia. Article 2 = Passport fraud and idenitfication theft is becoming an increasingly common crime in our highly technologically developed world. In order to protect against such fraudsters and potential terrorists abusing our passport system our party believes that cursory security checks on all applicants are a necessity. The current system is out dated leaves us vulnerable. Article 3 = The current policy on foreign aid is far too restrictive and fails to offer proper aid to poorer nations. We have a moral obligation to help other peoples and nations of this world who are less fortunate that ourselves. Article 4 = Our current policy is ensuring a generation of refugees in Pontesia who are living in extreme poverty with little or no skills or ability to work here in this country. Many of these refugees have no choice but to turn to crime and other anti-social behaviour in order to survive. If we want these people and our nation to prosper then some form of aid must be given to smooth their transition into Pontesian life. |
