Description[?]:
The Federal Independent Party propose to adjust the government's spending budget to better address the economic and social situation of the Federal Republic of Solentia. To utilize the taxes received from the newly introduced income tax bracket, I propose to produce a new budget which will cover the expenses of our current government systems and programs. We have recently re-introduced plans to revamp the health care system. In this move, we have initiated the move back to a universal health care system which will provide coverage and care to all Solentians of all classes and incomes. Through this very simple system which cuts to the chase, ensures private companies do not highjack medical costs, and allows Solentian citizens excellent care for a basic tax, we are able to improve our current health status. This is the reasoning for the great jump from the miniscule and insufficient funding provided to the health department to the newly proposed spending allowance. This system will be implemented, as it is passing in the legislature, and needs to be paid for. Our defense budget has been greatly increased to assist in fending off nations and organizations that see us as prone to terrorism and military interventions. The Conservatives have ruined our once admired defense system and with a new budget, we plan on restoring the military to its full capabilities. Education was crippled by the Conservative agenda, but now with this new budget, our nation's youth and students may have hope for a complete and sufficient education. Schooling was once Solentia's greatest aspects, but with the changes from a few years back, we have seen our educational status diminish. We must stand up for those who cannot afford to attend elitist private schools and must assure that there is a basic public school system which all may have the option of attending. It is wrong to shut out potential students on the basis of economic status - all must have the chance to learn. In a first world nation, we must all be equal on a level ground when it comes to receiving a human right. The justice system and internal affairs department have been significantly strengthened to help create equal law for all and ensure that our local communities have sufficient policing and criminal law enforcement. With this new budget, our police forces may work at maximum effectivity and our courts and criminal investigation forces shall be pushed to a new level of capability. We must ensure that our citizens have the basic right to live a safe life, and the best and simplest way to do this is to create a well-funded local defense force: the legal system and police force. Trade and industry have long been a boon to Solentia. This nation has been known for its strong blue collar working industries, factories, and labor organizations which have united to create a working class in the Federal Republic. Several major employers from my home state of Fuwan and home city of Rhegium have led in quite a few industries. Rhegium Municipal Steel has led the nation in productivity and has created thousands upon thousands of jobs for the nation while providing an uparalleled quality of steel. Fuwan Automotive Incorporation has constantly served as a strong and innovative automobile producer. The company has employed thousands of employees who have built this country from ground up. It is only fair for the government to return to these honorable companies and groups what they deserve, and that is sufficient funding within their sector. These funds will also be utilized for the purpose of managing any existing government industry and will be implemented for the general sake of the labor movement and organized unions. There are many changes this budget provides, and I believe they are all for the better. We can remain in service with this current dreadful budget or we can utilize the taxes that have been amounted and create a better working, more efficient, and stronger nation. Thank you. Random fact: In cases where a party has no seat, the default presumption should be that the party is able to contribute to debates in the legislature due to one of its members winning a seat at a by-election. However, players may collectively improvise arrangements of their own to provide a satisfying explanation for how parties with no seats in the legislature can speak and vote there. |
