Description[?]:

Bill SEP number 37: Agricultural Reform Initiative, drafted at the Rally for the Republic Convention.

Recognising that the policy of "Small farms are encouraged to merge together into larger ones" leads to corporate dominance, either private or state, over small operation farmers. Large mega-farms which occupy more and more land provide somewhat of a threat to small family farms which have been surviving as a family business for quite some time and thus this dominance causes them to be forced by financial reasons to sell off their farms to large corporations or the state which is then added to a huge farm. These huge farms are harder to maintain and corporations will, as a result, cut costs in the production of the food.

On another side of the coin, if we confiscate farms which are too large and disperse them, combined farms of different farmers choosing to work together will have their land confiscated from them and thus breaking the fundamental right to property.

As a result, in the interests of more liberties, it is best if farm size is unregulated but corporate farms are watched over by watchdog groups for any mishandling of the food. It is time to protect the individual farmers who choose to work on their own soil to put extra care into their produce. For the farmers!
