Bill: Zardugali Protection Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Confederacy of Social Darwinists

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 2536

Description[?]:

As the war in Cobura drags on, and as we face greater number of enemy soldiers, the need for the deployment of more soldiers into Cobura becomes apparent. Yet, we also need more specialist soldiers to be deployed against Cobura so that we will be able to launch more attacks behind enemy lines and will better be able to hinder the war effort of Cobura and her ‘allies’. As well, we need to muster our own internal defenses against the alien influences that seek to weaken the Free Federation of Zardugsl.

To this end we of the Conservative Party request the following;

1. Train an additional twenty thousand soldiers as paratroopers.
2. Delegate another five thousand soldiers into special operations units.
3. Deploy an additional two hundred and fifty thousand reservists into Cobura.
4. Establish local militia units throughout Zardugal, with each province of the Free Federation having somewhere between seventy thousand to one hundred and twenty thousand members.
5. Allow the militias to posses military grade weapons.
6. Grant control of no longer used military equipment, which is still functional, to the provincial militias.
7. Begin the training of an additional one hundred and eighty thousand soldiers.
8. Create a volunteer force of former Zardugali soldiers that will be on the call of the National Directory in the case of an emergency. The force itself shall consist of between forty thousand to one hundred thousand soldiers.
