Message | 51.1 percent of our people support either voluntary or no ID cards. |
Date | 07:13:18, September 10, 2005 CET | From | Democratic Centre Party of Gaduridos | To | Debating the People's Wish I |
Message | That's a pretty thin majority. It could easily be within the margin of error for that poll. It's too close to tell either way what the people want. |

Message | Yes, but we would still like to see this at least voted on... |
Date | 15:41:00, September 11, 2005 CET | From | Communist Party of Gaduridos | To | Debating the People's Wish I |
Message | We see nothing wrong with the way it is now. |
Date | 17:56:20, September 11, 2005 CET | From | Gaduridos National Party | To | Debating the People's Wish I |
Message | What is the point of making citizens have id cards if they do not have to carry them around with them? It is a waste of money and time. We will support regardless of the poll. |
Date | 18:03:35, September 11, 2005 CET | From | Totalitarian Party | To | Debating the People's Wish I |
Message | The cards are more than simple identification cards. Library cards, drivers licences, etc. already require the information on these identification cards. With this system, all have been combined into one convenient card. We feel that the proposed law is inefficient. Message | yes i no what they are. But why force people to have one if they are not forced to carry it or use it. It would be better on a voluntary basis and that is why we are supporting. |

Message | While citizens are not not required to carry the card at all times, I assume they are required to have one present when they borrow from a library, or use any other government service. I am sure that while people do not need to have the card with them at all times, they will still need to occasionally use them. |
Date | 19:55:01, September 11, 2005 CET | From | Gaduridos National Party | To | Debating the People's Wish I |
Message | I feel that passports should be able to be used where the id cards can be used so that we can make id cards voluntary |
Date | 22:07:39, September 11, 2005 CET | From | National Libertarian Party | To | Debating the People's Wish I |
Message | Passports would be part of the voluntary system. Brining to vote. |

Random fact: The people in your nation don't like inactive parties. When you often abstain from voting for a bill, they will dislike your party and your visibility to the electorate will decrease significantly. Low visibility will means you are likely to lose seats. So keep in mind: voting Yes or No is always better than Abstaining. |
