Bill: Claire Smith Education & Adulthood Reform Bill (2536)
Details
Submitted by[?]: Normand Pluralist Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: May 2537
Description[?]:
Recently, a young Sekowan who was legally an adult but still of the age required to attend school, brought a weapon to school and killed several of her classmates. This tragedy could perhaps have been avoided if the student had not been so disgruntled over the fact that she, as an adult, was still required to attend school. We therefore propose this law to ensure that no more Sekowan adults are required to attend school. |

Message | No. The age of adulthood has historically been 15. Further more by lowering the schoolage you're only giving into this destructive behaviour. |

Message | No, by refusing to let the police keep weapons as a deterrent to this kind of behavior, YOU, DSP, are only giving into it. |

Message | We disagree with lowering the compulsary age to attend school but fully agree that the age of legal adulthood is way too low. |

Random fact: When you join the game, you will find yourself with only zero seats. That's because your party's representatives haven't been elected yet. You need to establish your party's position on issues by proposing several bills that your party wants passed and sending them to vote. This raises your visibility and if you do it enough, you will win seats at the next election. |
Random quote: "A return to first principles in a republic is sometimes caused by the simple virtues of one man. His good example has such an influence that the good men strive to imitate him, and the wicked are ashamed to lead a life so contrary to his example." - Niccolo Machiavelli |
