Bill: Renewable Energy Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Fair and Equal World Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 2539

Description[?]:

The government must provide financial support to the scientists and researchers who are working to develop renewable energy technologies for a sustainable future world. The rapid depletion of fossil fuel stockpiles is alarming, and new innovations must be helped along the path to realization.

In order for Rutania to have a truly healthy economy and infrastructure, we must have sustainable energy sources. Do we honestly want our grandchildren to inherit a crumbling country because we neglected to treat the real long-term issue here for the sake of short-term financial gains?

If we are genuinely concerned about the health of our country, our planet, and our descendants, we must sow the seeds of sustainability in Rutania. This bill is a start.
